Greetings to all

    Welcome to February, situated in the middle of winter. As this month begins we find ourselves tiring of winter and longing for the coming of warmer weather. This time of year is seems to drag on without end in sight. We used to hate February until we joined GWRRA. February is the month for "Wingless Weekend" which breaks the monotony of winter quite nicely. You still have time to join us there if you can.
   This time of year is also the time to make preliminary plans for the coming year. Give some thought to all upcoming events at the national, regional, district and local level. Try to find time to attend as many as you can. If you need any information please e-mail us and we will get the needed info out to you as soon as possible.
   Please do not forget our anniversary party coming in March. The planning group is working hard to make this party the best ever. If you have any ideas, suggestions or want to help give Jim & Julie Meredith or Ezra & Marilynn Bostic a call. I'm sure they would appreciate it.

Just a reminder that we are still in need of door prizes for the Anniversary party on March 11th. Please bring anything you might have to the Gathering and we'll take them. If you can't make it to the Gathering let us know and we'll find a way to get them picked up. We still need something in the neighborhood of 35 more prizes so hit everyone up that you can think of. Thanks to all of those that have brought stuff in. We're still looking for volunteers to help in decorating at the party. Drop us a line or give us a call if you can help. Thanks.
