Text Box: CD Article

Greetings from Florida!

We are sending this article from Lakeland, Florida and boy did we pick the right week to be here. It is currently 83 degrees and very sunny. The weather forecast for the week has the highs for each day between 76 and 83 with no forecast rain until Monday (March 20th) The ride down here was long, boring and rather uneventful. We have driven through Atlanta three times now and we don't know how anyone can stand to commute in that city. Five lanes of highway on each side of the divider mean’s that there are way too many cars and trucks that need to get around. We will be seeing as much of this state that we can but we also will be spending time with our two grandsons that only get to see us a couple of times a year
We want to thank again Ezra & Marilynn Bostic and Jim & Julie Meredith for the stellar job they did in planning and conducting our anniversary party. We cannot thank you guys enough for the great job that you did. We had nothing but positive comments and congratulations for a great party. If we've forgotten to thank anyone else we're sorry. EVERYONE that had anything to do with the party deserves thanks so THANK YOU!!!!
We want Congratulate Pete & Sherry Wright. They are our 2006 Couple of the Year. Pete & Sherry are the longest tenured members of our chapter and represent what the COY title means. They quietly help anytime they are asked and they represent what GWRRA is all about!
We want to thank Harry & Marcia Emmert for the great job they did as our 2005 COY. They also represent the best in our chapter and this organization
We are in the process of setting a date for our "Coming Out" party so leave your time in your schedule in late April to get your bike ready for the upcoming riding season. The exact date will be in this newsletter.
We will be folding t-shirts and brochures in April too, probably at the above-mentioned party. All pertinent details will be in this newsletter.
Well the sun is shining and the temp is about 82 so we think we are going to ride some more.

Goodbye from Florida and we'll see you when we get back.
Joe & Diane
